About Hosea 4:6 Ministries"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge" In Hosea 4:6, God declares through his prophet, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children (NKJV). Although written more than 2,700 years ago for the nation of Israel, this harsh warning could have been written for the Church in America
today. While atheists and secular humanists wage a deadly cultural war in America, Christians are finding themselves to be less and less of an influence. The primary culprit at the church level is a lack of knowledge. We can no longer enter the cultural war unarmed, or worse fail to enter it at all.
Christians' failure to grow in the knowledge of God's word has contributed to the decline in American moral values and the rush by a misguided minority to revoke our license to speak out on issues, such as abortion, same-sex marriage, corruption in government, and many other issues facing the United States today. It is lack of knowledge of American history, church history, and current events that essentially disarms the Church in the public debates of our day and allows opponents of Christianity to twist and distort the truth about our Christian American heritage.
Hosea 4:6 Ministries was founded to exhort Christians to increase in knowledge and understanding and to become fully engaged at the grass roots level in the cultural warfare in which we find ourselves today. It will be the light and the salt of the Church that will turn the tide -- but only if we become armed and active by uniting our efforts. At Hosea 4:6 Ministries, our goal is to establish Action Task Forces at churches throughout America that will become a vocal and informed force in America's cultural warfare.
